Beachwoods at 1 Cypress Knee Trail, Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

I’m sure that this resort is very nice, but as soon as I checked in I was checking out. If you read these reviews at all please take my review at face value. This resort is located behind a walmart, about 15 minutes walk to the beach. The outdoor hot tub water was dark green, and the rooms are in cabins in a swamp. It was also a bit uncomfortable sharing a door with someone else to get to our room. It isn’t advertised as it is on the website, and the big building you see on the lake is just the visitors center and water park. As soon as you walk in, they’re trying to sell you their timeshare after a long check in process. You have to drive everywhere you want to go and there isn’t a restaurant on property either. Oh, and the rooms were definitely spruced up for their website photos. If any of you are used to resorts like I am this won’t be up to your standards. The staff was lovely hence my 3 stars but, I Checked out an hour after check in, and went to another resort.
